This is a song about changing things before it's too late to change them, and dealing with things you can't change anymore. How you can't hide from problems because they will always come back and hurt you if you don't face them and sometimes hurt the people you care about around you.
lyrics
Give me a date,
And what made you this way.
I'll go back in time,
And keep you safe.
I'll build machines,
That wipe slates clean.
Just give me a date,
And we'll locate your crime scene.
You show your love,
When you try to swim against the tides.
I'll build machines that spin moons on their sides.
Inventing ways,
To span space and time,
To give you the strength to give me the strength for mine.
So, that crutch you found,
Just drags you down,
Into the abyss,
With the points you missed.
